Fall Festival
Enjoy the Decorated Campsites, Pumpkin Carving, and Other Fall Activities
The Friends of Point Beach State Forest, are sponsoring this 12th Annual Event
Saturday - October 15, 2011
9:00AM-12:00PM *Pumpkin Carving Contest at the Lodge
You may bring your own pumpkin, or a limited number of pumpkins will be for sale
Please bring your own carving tools. Adult supervision is required
10:00AM-? *Food and Beverages at the Lodge
Hot dogs, chili, cookies, cocoa, apple cider, coffee and soda are available for purchase.
2:00 PM *Announcement of Pumpkin Carving Contest Winners at the Lodge
Prizes are awarded in four categories:
1.) ages 5 and under 2.) ages 6 to 8
3.) ages 9 to 11 4.) ages 12 and older.
4:00 PM-5:00PM *Costume Parade at the Lodge (for registered campers)
Please remember and respect that there is NO trick or treating in the campground
Campground roads will remain open
Visit with Smokey Bear and Daisy the Clown
Educational information is available in the Nature Center
8:00 PM *Prizes for Campsite Decorating Contest Winners will be posted at Camp Host - Site #74
*Star Gazing at the Lodge (weather permitting)
Socialize with fellow campers.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for both the electric and non-electric campsites.
Winners: Please pick up your prize at the Camp Host Site -#74 by Sunday morning.
WI State Park Sticker or Vehicle Pass is REQUIRED when using the state forest.
$7.00/WI License Plates or $10.00/Non-WI License Plates
