Point Beach State Forest is looking for your vintage photos.  If you have any old pictures of the forest lying around the house, please bring them in to the office so that they may be enjoyed by all.

Used Cross Country Ski Equipment Needed

If you have used cross country ski equipment you've outgrown or no longer use, bring it to the ranger station at Point Beach to donate to the Friends group.  We'd like to have some of this equipment on hand for groups who come to experience the winter forest.

WHO WE ARE

We are the Friends of Point Beach State Forest, a non-profit organization formed in 1999.

We are incorporated with tax-exempt status.

The Friends of Point Beach is made up of members from the local communities surrounding the forest, as well as individuals, families, and organizations that wish to preserve the natural beauty of Point Beach State Forest for generations to come.

We are proud to introduce you to Point Beach State Forest, a truly unique slice of paradise on the lakeshore in North East Wisconsin.  With more than 2,900 acres of forest and beach, Point Beach offers 127 family campsites, two indoor group cabins and an outdoor group campsite.  There are numerous picnic areas with tables, grills, water, concession stand, playgrounds and restrooms.  Point Beach also has 11 miles of hiking/skiing trails and a self guided half mile nature trail.  Numerous Summer programs are scheduled at the Nature Center in the Lodge Building.
